Twelve Months Of Trigger X Temptation

All living creatures secrete stimulants. Not scent, per say, but substances we can’t see, smell or taste. Despite the invisibility and enigmatic nature of these stimulants, they, unarguably, trigger reactions. Take, for example, the alarm a minnow sounds as its being stalked, alerting others in the school that bad stuff’s gonna happen. In concert, there’s an abrupt behavioral change in the perusing predator, as it and the rest of the attack pack put on their game faces. It’s all in the chemistry; pheromones, to be exact, which percolate from both predator and prey during the pursuit.

Chemists have been studying flight and fight hormones for years now, and from firsthand experiments under the surface of the seas to controlled studies in sterile laboratories, these smartest-among-us have come to a consensus: Hey, we can make a fish eat, even when it’s not in the mood!

Bubbling beakers aside, the only science Trigger X anglers need to understand is that the pheromone-saturated softbaits attract fish and prompt them to strike. BASSMASTER Elite Series angler and Trigger X prostaffer Davey Hite’s has experienced the phenomenon firsthand, “Although I don’t claim to totally understand the chemistry of pheromones, I do know this: I catch more fish on Trigger X baits than any soft bait I’ve ever thrown.”

Trigger X baits are available in three stimulating formulas: Aggression, Walleye and Saltwater. All are meticulously molded to emulate the shapes, sizes and colors of forage that sportfish focus on. And they come in a rigid body-shape-saving reusable package, all the while soaking in a cocktail of Ultrabite® Aggression Pheromones, which blend the aforementioned aggression and fear hormones. The entire lineup’s concocted to specifically trip the strike instinct of bass, walleye or saltwater species. And unlike others, you’ll never have to worry about these softbaits drying out like yesterday’s stale bread.

To prove the effectiveness of pheromones on provoking fish to poke at Trigger X with their lips, we’re giving you the chance to win a year’s worth of the soft plastic potion. Win, and you’ll be outfishing your posse all season long with up to $250 worth of Trigger X...

Click here to enter the contest, then upload your photo or video of Trigger X in action. But we’re not limiting the Trigger X factor of fun to just one, but rather a school of anglers. A new winner will be picked every month from January 15 through September 15, 2012.

More proof-positive that the pheromone infusion in Trigger X softbaits will fool fish into feeding, while you’re all the wiser for entering.
