It’s covered with a bullet-proof copolymer outer shell that withstands the dentistry of virtually every predator that swims, including freshwater’s apex Esox and saltwater killing machines like ‘cuda.
Rest assured that every part of the BX Minnow is designed and manufactured by Rapala in Finland-from the Olympian-strong split rings to the rebar-tough hook hangers and flesh-piercing black nickel VMC hooks. There’s no weak link here.
Add that the bait is sonically welded together to surgical-like tolerances, and it’s an instant confidence bait, right out of the box. Individually hand-tuned and tank-tested to run straight every time.
Mimics The Real Thing
On top of the BX Minnow’s rugged skin you’ll find it’s nearly anatomically correct, with 3D scales, lateral lines and gill plates. They studied how minnows behave and captured nuances that most companies miss. Just like real forage fish, the BX Minnow’s head rises before the rest of the body when an angler pauses on the retrieve.
Plus, it’s just fishable. Depending on the speed of the retrieve, its unique rolling and wobbling action can be user defined. Fish it as a slash bait with longer twitches for irresistible side-to-side flash. Shorter twitches of the rod tip followed by pauses can simulate wounded prey.
